7.9x5.9 in ~ Painting, Oil
Christmas is coming, and this is an opportunity to own one of my characters from Egg Island. Also, with the painting, I will send a signed copy of my book Egg Island.
Extract from my book. the turn of the century, when the great sail-ships were plying their trade across the great oceans, a small shipping company in London operated for over seven generations, which was run by Captain Thomas, who inherited the company from his father, Edward. Tall and lean but with a
slight stoop, Edward kept a keen interest in the company, although he had officially retired. Captain Thomas, a young, well-built man with deep blue eyes and a graceful kindly nature, was the only son of Edward. Unfortunately, Thomas’s mother died when he was two years
old.
Captain Thomas was born and raised on the sea. He learned everything from his father from the first day he was born. He was a son of the sea. When Thomas took over the company, it was in decline and losing money, and there was a chance he would have to sell the business to pay the growing debts. But he swore to himself that he would never give up until he tried everything to save the company.
