Unlike many surrealists, who present their dreams, the central subjects of Ta’s work are people and bold colours. Her work opens up new art dimensions to explore. Her Blue Valentine figures radiate emotions of closeness, love and feeling safe, and her conspirator characters evoke curiosity. “My subject matter is people, but my real passion is in colour and how the arrangement of colour can produce a different emotional experience of art.”
In this oil painting, I delved into the fluidity of motion and the harmony of the human form, an homage to the elegance of ballet. It's an expressive fusion of the real and the imagined, where I push the boundaries of figurative art into a realm of surreal contemplation. My strokes capture not just movement, but emotion—translating the dancer's passion directly onto the canvas. This piece isn't just to be viewed, it's to be felt, carrying a vibrancy that will breathe dynamic energy into any space it occupies.
