Each of the Lovers comes from Ta's memory and imagination, "my feelings, my memories, some good, some not so good, but I try to focus on the good ones, a dance I remember, a hug after a long time apart, or hold someone very dear to me".

Ta loves to be bold and untamed. She experiments with vivid colours and the finest oils. Her painting style is free and fluid, and void of inhibitions. She gives her lovers plentiful and sensual curves. They have an intimacy that only lovers can share; they are free of age, origin and nationality. They are free and in tune with each other.

Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui,
just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and
packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her
Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a
cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly
representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings,
making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today.
